The photo studio infinity look is achieved through a raised floor level with the turntable. The concrete is poured to a height of 3.5 inches on an existing concrete slab. So the bottom surface doesn’t need to be compacted. The old cement surface should be thoroughly cleaned to facilitate bonding. Typically vacuuming and brooming is sufficient. A pressure washer may be used if the old concrete is in poor shape.
