When it comes to commercial vehicle positioning and display, two top choices are the EZ360 EZTurn Turntable and CarTurner Turntables. These turntables are designed to save space over walkaround photo shooting,, improve operations, and enhance photo quality.. Let’s compare their specifications, features, and benefits to help you decide which one suits your business best.

Design and Build Quality:

  • EZ360 Turntable: Constructed with high-quality galvanized steel for durability, rust resistance, and aesthetic appeal. Smooth edges and finishes enhance aesthetics.
  • CarTurner Turntable: Built with steel for commercial and residential locations. The tables typically use higher gauge steel that is thinner and more prone to bending.

Size and Footprint:

  • EZ360 Turntable: An 18-foot diameter platform offers ample space for maneuvering and rotating vehicles of all sizes, from motorcycles to the largest commercial trucks, SUVs, and vans. The table is rated to spin up to 10,000 lbs.  An optional super heavy-duty package supports up to 15,000 lbs.
  • CarTurner Turntable: CarTurner tables are smaller than EZ360.  Their tables can be 13′ 4″ or 16′ 4″.  They won’t accommodate larger trucks but the smaller size is more attractive for residential and commercial use with tight garage spaces.

Performance Features:

  • EZ360 Turntable: Equipped with a powerful 1.5 HP motor and Variable Frequency Drive for smooth and efficient operation, including gradual start up and stop in both directions.  Tables can be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise for fast positioning for vehicle entrance and exit.  Bidirectional rotation and remote control are standard. The table can be integrated with the EZ360 control center and fixed cameras for automated and consistent spins and photos.
  • CarTurner Turntable:  CarTurner has a less powerful motor that can burn out with constant use.  Bidirectional rotation and remote control are CarTurner options.

Turntable tops and customization:

  • EZ360 Turntable: The turntable is designed to allow a variety of top materials and designs, including tile, carpeting, and wood.  The standard tops are fiberglass epoxy that reflects light, will not rust, and are easy to clean and maintain, just like a Corvette or boat. Epoxy tops can be customized with color and flakes to meet dealer brand specifications.
  • CarTurner Turntable: CarTurner tops are stainless steel that also reflects light.  Steel tops can be cleaned and resist dirt.  But they also can stain and will eventually rust.

In conclusion, the EZ360 turntable is ideally suited for car dealers with active operations that shoot a lot of vehicles, have a lot of trucks, seek the longest-lasting tables, want the easiest maintenance, or are integrating the table with a photo studio and photography software.
