Izzy Alpert: “Sister Technologies started as an online video editing company, and over time, we developed patented technology that transformed how images and voiceovers were assembled. That patent became the foundation for everything that followed. Today, Sister Technologies is a holding company for that patent, but the experience shaped my approach to innovation.”
Auto Success: So how did the transition to EZ360 happen?
Izzy Alpert: “After the 2008 mortgage crisis, we saw our patented video technology being copied by major players in the market. We took legal action, won settlements, and then I had a decision to make about what to do next. I realized there was a massive inefficiency in how photos, especially in the car industry, were handled online. Pictures were being taken, uploaded, compressed, and passed around—losing quality every step of the way. I thought, There’s got to be a better way.”
Auto Success: And that led to EZ360?
Izzy Alpert: “Exactly. We set out to centralize and streamline the process, allowing images to stay in their original 4K quality and be delivered on demand without data compression. It was a major leap forward. Over time, we built AI-powered tools and a mobile app to make this seamless for dealers.”
